The purpose of this personal data protection policy is to define the principles implemented by MEDEF Lille Métropole regarding the protection of the personal data of users of the website https://www.cite-ia-summit.fr
We shall comply, in the collection and management of your personal data, with French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and civil liberties, as amended and in its latest version in forcer, as well as with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), adopted on 27 April 2016 by the European Parliament and with the resulting laws and regulations.

Data collected
The concept of ‘personal data’ corresponds to the definition provided in article 4 of the GDPR, i.e. any information that can enable, directly or indirectly, the identification of a natural person: forename, surname, IP address, e-mail address, etc.

Purpose of the personal data collection
The personal data of the participants are collected in order to satisfy one of the following purposes:
- To manage your registration for our event;
- To respond to your contact requests;
- To send you our newsletter;
- To send you information about our services and events.
In addition, personal data concerning the exhibitors and speakers will also be collected, especially in order to:
- To ensure the management of your registrations, participation in the event and its logistical organisation;
- To facilitate communication before, during and after the event;
- To guarantee the fulfilment of our legal obligations.
We undertake to only collect the data strictly necessary for the achievement of the aforementioned objectives, in order to process your requests in a pertinent manner and in compliance with the GDPR.
Recipients of personal data
The personal data collected that concern you are intended for the authorised staff of MEDEF Lille Métropole, who have been duly accredited for this purpose.
In order to be able to carry out the processing operations listed above, we shall share your personal information in the following cases:
- With service providers that may be associated in the sending of targeted e-mails by our organisation.
We shall never, without your explicit authorisation, share your personal data with third parties who might use them to solicit you directly.
Legal basis for the processing of your personal data
The personal data collections described above are performed when necessary:
- Based on our legitimate interest for communication operations, as well as to respond to your contact requests;
- Based on the performance of contractual measures for your registration for an event;

Personal data retention period
Personal data will not be retained for a period that exceeds that necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
Once the data collected are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they had been collected, they will be archived and anonymised or destroyed.
When your data are used for communication purposes, they will be retained for the duration of the processing and for up to 3 years after the final contact.

The right to be informed
MEDEF Lille Métropole provides the necessary information when personal data are collected.
The right of access
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and a certain quantity of other information. This right also includes that to obtain a copy of the personal data undergoing processing.
The right to rectification
The data subject shall have the right to request that his or her personal data be rectified or completed.
The right to erasure (or ‘right to be forgotten’)
In the cases provided for in the regulations, the data subject shall have the right to request erasure of his or her data. If the data have been transmitted to other entities (service providers), the ‘right to be forgotten’ mechanism will be triggered. The data controller shall take all reasonable steps to inform the other entities that you have requested the erasure of any links to, or copy or replication of, your personal data.
The right to restriction of processing
In the cases provided for in the regulations, the data subject shall have the right to request restriction of the processing of his or her data. Where processing has been restricted, the data will be retained but will no longer be subject to processing.
The right to data portability
In the cases provided for in the regulations, the data subject shall have the right to receive the personal data which hr or she has provided, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Where possible, the data subject may also request the personal data be transferred directly to a new data controller.
The right to object
In the cases provided for in the regulations, the data subject shall have the right to object, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her.
