David Grout directs teams of cybersecurity engineers for France, Benelux, Italy, Iberia and Israel. With over 20 years’ experience, including 12 years at McAfee and the role of CTO EMEA at Mandiant, he accompanies major companies in defining and implementing advanced cyber-defence strategies. A recognised market expert, David is regularly asked to provide expertise on geopolitical threats, spying and crisis management. These days, he mainly focuses on modernising security operations (Google SecOps) and new challenges involving Artificial Intelligence. In line with this vision, he has accompanied major stakeholders in adopting innovative and AI-first security models. Committed to the European trust ecosystem, he is actively involved in standardisation work for institutions and think-tanks such as AFNOR and CLUSIF.  David combines a strong strategic vision with a solid technical background, supported by benchmark certifications, such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+ and Lead Auditor ISO 27001.
